India's 77th Independence Day!!

India’s 77 th Independence Day was Tuesday, August 15 th, and the center was beautifully decorated for that day. One of the most exciting moments of the day was welcoming Woburn’s chief executive, Mayor Scott Galvin to our center. It was our pleasure that he was able to join India’s Independence Day celebration. The ceremony was a beautiful show of the connection between India and America. All participants joyfully chanting India’s Independence Day slogan while waving small flags India to show their pride and excitement during the celebration. Participants had the opportunity to give speeches, sing songs, and do small skits. Overall, this was a successful day celebrating India and America’s connection.
